Terms of Service
These terms govern your purchase and use of the Lenscribe software ("Software"). By buying or using it, you agree to them.
1. License
On purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Software for personal or commercial work on Macs you own or control, activated with your license key. The Software is licensed, not sold.
2. Purchase
Lenscribe is a one-time purchase. Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles payment, taxes and invoicing. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to the transaction.
3. License keys
Keep your key private. Keys are validated online; we may deactivate keys that are shared publicly, resold, or obtained fraudulently.
4. Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer (except as permitted by law), or redistribute the Software or circumvent licensing.
5. Third-party AI services
Lenscribe works with API keys you supply for providers such as Anthropic, Google Gemini or OpenRouter. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and billed by them. You are responsible for the content you capture and send.
6. Updates
We may release updates and fixes. We don't guarantee any specific future features or compatibility with future macOS versions.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated output may be inaccurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
